Audubon Center for Birds of Prey: Education

Education at the Center for Birds of Prey
Education and outreach programs are offered to diverse groups of all ages, including civic groups, clubs, girl and Boy Scout troops, home school groups, garden clubs, veterinary care givers and county schools of all grades. Programs focus on birds of prey, while learning about Florida natural history and Audubon’s conservation efforts. All programs are science based and are in compliance with the Florida Sunshine State standards. Each presentation is appropriate targeted for the age group scheduled. With live bird ambassadors and hands-on activities, participants explore the relationship of people to their natural environment while discovering the role raptors play in our local ecosystems. Bring a group of friends or sponsor a school group. We encourage you to take advantage of this unique experience, engaging with nature and birds of prey.

For questions or to schedule any of the programs offered below, please contact the Education Department or phone 407-644-0190 ext. 106.
